Email Validation

Pre-send verification that an address actually exists and accepts mail. Three layers: syntax check, MX-record lookup, and SMTP-level verification (asking the receiving server if the mailbox exists without sending the message). Validating lists before sending is the single biggest bounce-rate fix.
