DomainKeys Identified Mail — a digital signature added to outgoing emails that the receiver verifies against a public key stored in DNS. DKIM proves the message wasn't altered in transit and that it really came from a server authorized by the sending domain. Required (along with SPF and DMARC) for reliable inbox placement at Gmail and Outlook.
