Bounce Rate

The percentage of sent emails that fail to deliver. Hard bounces (permanent failures — invalid address, blocked domain) are much worse for sender reputation than soft bounces (temporary — mailbox full, server unreachable). Mailbox providers flag senders with bounce rates above 5%.
